Koustuv Institute of Self Domain (KISD) offers B.Tech course in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering,A well-stocked library empower with the latest Lib-Sys software is provided to support teaching, research, academic programmes and technical development programmes. The focus is on leveraging intellectual capital. The library is well-furnished with a wide range of books, journals, newspapers, research publications and periodicals. As on extension, students can avail of a larger collection of books in the KGI library related to Business Management to enrich their knowledge.

Admission Procedure:

JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION(JEE), Odisha invites application from all students interested for taking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for seeking admission under Different Quota of total seats or less as opted by the privated institution & excluding the institution which have not opted for JEE. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is held on month of April at all Private Engineering Colleges in Odisha for admission to first year of Different Courses.
For B.TECH  And Mtech: To become eligible to take admission in B Tech, candidate should be passed 10+2 Examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Biology with 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the aggregate. Additionally the candidate must have a valid score in JEE-Main.
For MCA :Bachelor Degree in Computer/Mathematics/Physics/Any Discipline 50% or more marks in Degree Must have studied Mathematics in higher secondary (+2)
 For MBA : To become eligible to take admission in MBA one must be a graduate with 50% marks in the aggregate. Final year degree students are eligible for taking provisional admission, subject to the condition that they must secure 50% marks in the aggregate at the time of final admission. Additionally the candidate must have a valid score in a national level admission test such as CAT/MAT/XAT/C-MAT/AIMA/OJEE etc.

• Laboratories & Workshops

Well equipped laboratories and workshops are training grounds for budding professionals. KGI has state-of-the-art labs and workshops that enable students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt theoretically. Laboratories and workshops are equipped with required instruments and equipped and are supervised by qualified technicians.
Lecture Halls
The lecture halls are thoughtfully designed to inculcate high quality. Learning and are equipped for education through various media like OHPs, Multimedia presentations and display panels. A variety of learning tools ensure through experimental acquisition of knowledge and skills. Role plays, case studies, project works, field experiences, assignments, quizzing, seminars and industry visits are some of the methods used. Students are encouraged to develop analytical skills and contribute at various forums like in-house publications, workshops and seminars.

• Hostel (Koustuv Residency)

The hostel provides accommodations to students in spacious, well furnished and elegant rooms with clean and hygienic wash rooms and all modern facilities. A hostel warden looks after the well being and safety of all students and ensures students to be in discipline. Students may approach the warden freely should they face any difficulty in the hostel. Wholesome and nutritious food in provided at the minimum possible cost in the mess.

• Transport

KGI Provides transportation facilities to all the members of its hostel boarders as well as the day scholars for which it maintains a fleet of buses which ply regularly on the stipulated routes between the twin cities i.e. Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and the outskirts of the temple city. Besides the scheduled regular trips, this transport facility is also extended to our students on other occasions like campus placement drives, special coaching classes, study tours, industry visits etc.
