Sahyadri Valley College of Engineering & Technology, Pune was established in 2011. the faculty is approved by AICTE, DTE and Government of geographic region & connected to college of Pune. the faculty has been managed by Maharia trust with associate degree intention to push and supply technical education within the remote areas of geographic region.SVCET is established in the year 2011 under the dedicated efforts of the Maharia Charitable Trust, Mumbai, which is the governing body formed in 2001, with an intention to promote and provide technical education in the remote areas of Maharashtra.The main motto of the trustees of Maharia Charitable Trust is to carve the youth as competent, dynamic, valued and enlightened professionals who shall become instruments in the nation building process in the 21st century. Our nation today needs a balanced and sustainable growth with better facility of technical education to be provided at remote areas. Maharia Charitable Trust is dedicated to fullfill this aim.SVCET strongly believes that the hardwork, dedication and impeccable work are chief instruments which leads the path of success in personal and professional life of an individual. Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere.
