Sai Vidya Institute of Technology was founded in the year 2008 by Sri Sai Vidya Vikas Shikshana Samithi (SSVVSS) which is a trust formed by a team of Professors under the leadership of Prof M.R.Holla, a recipient of Karnataka Rajyothsava Award in recognition of his unparalleled services to technical education as Principal of RVCE (20 Years).
SVIT will provide students with a sense of history, an understanding of the ideals and principles, a commitment to law and morality, an appreciation of human creativity an analytically inquisitive mind. Admission Details of SVIT Bangalore:-

A pass in 2nd year PUC or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by the university with 45% marks in aggregate in physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subject i.e. chemistry, Biology, Computer science & Electronics. In case of SC/ST & OBC students the minimum percentage in the said optional subjects shall be 40%
for lateral entry admission to 3rd semester, the candidates who are diploma holders shall secure 45% and in case of SC/ST/OBC the minimum percentage is 40% in the final year (5th & 6th sem) diploma examination.
50 % of the intake will be filled by common entrance test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination authority on merit cum reservation basis, based on the rank obtained by the students.
25% of the intake will be filled by the COMED-K test conducted by private colleges association of Karnataka purely on merit basis as per the ranks obtained in the test.
25% of the intake will be filled by the management on the basis of CET/COMED-K ranks.
