Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Warangal was established in 1998, is to impart quality education to U.G. and P.G. student in innovative ways.The college has become one of the most preferred colleges for Engineering education in this part of the state.The College is known for its discipline and imparting skills to mould the students to face the challenges in the technologically advancing world and to become successful engineers and devote their energies in the service of humanity and National development.The college has most qualified and experienced faculty to impart right type of education and training to students.Vaagdevi is dedicated for transforming the boys and girls into highly competent engineers with high level of motivation, professional skills and self-confidence. We inculcate in them Effective Communication Skills, ability to work in a team and to lead a team for achieving excellent results in their professional pursuits. Training students to acquire the ability to go into details. Inculcate in them a sense of responsibility towards society at large. Sensitize them towards moral and ethical values to make them responsible citizens.

There has been a tremendous advancement of knowledge and to keep pace with the changing times and needs of new generation, we need commitment, dedication and devotion among people managing educational institutions.A few like-minded people coming from different walks of life joined hands and established 38 educational institutes under Vaagdevi banner in various disciplines at different levels. Among them, 30 institutes are imparting professional education in the fields of pharmacy, engineering, medicine, computer education and management. Our main goal is to develop these institutes as centers of excellence and serve the higher education needs of people of this backward region of Telangana.As the chairman, I am happy that most of our students who passed out from this institute have been very well placed both in India and outside in the organizations of their choice and some of them have even started their own ventures. We are a happy lot that our students have spread far and wide globally and many have excelled as academicians, administrators, executive, professionals, yet our efforts will go on and on for ever in ensuring them a bright and wonderful career to prove to the world that they are the fittest ones to survive in the global competition successfully.

About VCE M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
